S Stephen Myer

Stephen Myer began his career as General Manager for a start-up manufacturing company in California that was positioned for a profitable sale after three years.  He transitioned into the healthcare industry with PacifiCare/Secure Horizons where he spent 9 years and held both sales and operations positions prior to leaving as a Senior Business Consultant leading sales operations for Northern California.   During his tenure, he led one of the largest market expansions in California.    Stephen changed industries during the dot.com growth era and became a principle and VP of Sales for a start-up dot.com.  His responsibilities included developing the business plan including pro-forma financials, the initial product and launch strategy, providing infrastructure during the proof of concept, securing investment financing, and developing a scalable sales model.  After an initially successful launch, the company was not able to secure venture capital in 2000 due to the market and closed in late 2000.

Stephen moved into the Internet industry with an organization focused on on-line education.  He was involved in all aspects of the organization and lead both operations and sales and marketing during his tenure.  This included a significant expansion for the organization with a staff increase of over 250%, year-over-year sales growth of over 14% with an over all 8% decrease in acquisition costs.

In 2005, Stephen and his wife Cindy and children Michael, Marissa and Allison moved to Colorado where he transitioned back into the healthcare industry.  He is currently working with Kaiser Permanente as a Sales Manager.   He is also involved as a consultant working with Estrellita, a bilingual Spanish Education program implemented in primary schools throughout the country.

Stephen holds his Bachelors Degree in Psychology and an MBA in Finance. He has been involved in various ministries and has been working with youth for over 20 years.    Stephen and his family love the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer including snow skiing, water skiing, triathlons, biking and sunrise walks discussing scripture.
