I was born in 1967 in Minnesota. The youngest of five children, I developed my work ethic though jobs held with local school district, grocery store, and my uncles farm.
I graduated from High School in 1985 and decided that college would have to wait. I entered the United States Air Force in summer of 1986 and served as an Aerospace Control and Warnings Systems Operator. I served in the Air Force for 10 years and was stationed in Germany, Idaho, and Alaska in those 10 years. After separating from the Air Force in 1996, I decided to go back to college.
I graduated with an Associate Degree from Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, FL in 1998. With a family move to California I took a Manager position with U-Store America in Vacaville, CA. Held that position for over a year, but with another family move to Texas coming, decided returning to college there was important.
I graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. I took a Manager position with World Savings and Loan in San Antonio. I worked as a District Manager in the Customer Service Department for over a year. I was than promoted to the Preferred Customer Loan Department as a Loan Representative. I worked as both a Loan Representative and a District Manager in this department for 6 years.
In May of 2007 I took a transfer to Colorado with Wachovia Mortgage who bought World Savings and Loan in 2006. I held the position of Account Executive for Wholesale Mortgages. I worked with Mortgage Brokers in the area that sold our products. I was then asked to take a position in late 2007 as a Retail Mortgage Consultant in the Cherry Creek savings branch for Wachovia. Shortly after taking that position, Wachovia decided to shut down their mortgage operations in Colorado and I was let go.
In July of 2008 I took a position with New England Financial a MetLife Co as a Registered Financial Representative. In an ever changing world, I continue to find ways to grow and give back to the community. I am an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch and now starting a non profit business 3tministy to help give back to those in need throughout Colorado and more.
I am happily married to my wife Karol and have two children Sierra 16 and Blake 11. I enjoy camping, fishing, traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
