Becky has been doing service projects from the day she could walk. She grew up in a small, farming town that helping others was the norm. Helping your neighbor took priority over anything you had planned for the day.
While studying at Simpson College, she became an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, a service fraternity, and was chosen to lead all service organizations on campus as the Student Chaplain of Service. She continued on to graduate school at Colorado State University for a master’s degree in occupational therapy, which enables her to be of service to older people every day helping them to live as independent of a life as they are possibly able.
She is married to Gregory Archunde, and they have 2 young children. Together they try to instill the service mentality in their children from they day they can walk.
